Information we collect
This website does not require an account and does not process online payment, so no payment details are ever collected. Information is only collected when you choose to give it to us:
- Quote requests: when you submit the quote form, we store your name, phone number, email address, customer type, any message you write, and the products, quantities, and notes you added.
- WhatsApp messages:if you message us on WhatsApp instead, that conversation is handled directly through WhatsApp and is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy terms, not this website's database.
- Site analytics: if analytics is enabled, we receive aggregated, anonymised information about site usage (pages visited, general location, device type) through Google Analytics. This does not include your name, phone number, or email address.
How we use it
Quote request details are used only to reply to your inquiry with pricing and availability, and to keep a record of past customer inquiries for our own reference. Analytics data, when enabled, is used only to understand which pages and products are useful to visitors, so we can improve the site.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone. Quote details are seen only by MJ Trader staff who handle customer inquiries. If Google Analytics is enabled, Google processes aggregated usage data under its own privacy policy; we do not send it your name, phone number, or email address.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies for online payment or advertising. If Google Analytics is enabled, it may set standard analytics cookies in your browser to distinguish visits; you can block or delete these through your browser's settings at any time without affecting your ability to browse the catalogue or submit a quote request.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept as a record of past inquiries until we no longer need them, or until you ask us to delete yours.
